Badlands Entertainment Group is hosting the world premiere of the Badlands House Band on Thursday, August 27 at The District in Sioux Falls. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the concert starts at 8:30 p.m. Admission is free with a cash donation at the door to the Brennan Rock & Roll Academy.
Badlands Entertainment CEO Chuck Brennan said a surprise mega celebrity will be performing at the concert, which was originally scheduled for August 29 at Huset’s Motor Speedway. “The venue wasn’t going to be ready in time for the concert, but the show must go on,” he said. “The District is a great venue and we will make it a concert to remember!”
The band’s world premiere concert will be filmed for an upcoming television show and the first 500 guests in the door will receive a free Badlands House Band t-shirt. “Seats are limited, so I recommend you get there early to get your spot,” said Brennan. “You won’t want to miss this intimate concert with a world-renowned special guest that is one of the biggest rock stars of all time.”
The Badlands House Band is led by the Metal Cowboy, Ron Keel and includes drum legend Jeff “The Rev” Koller, guitarists’ David “DC” Cothern and Steve “Doc” Purcell, keyboardist Scott “Dakota” Schmitt and bass player Geno “El Diablo” Arce.
“Badlands Entertainment Group is proud to put the spotlight on killer musicians who have earned the opportunity to play for the Badlands House Band,” said Chuck Brennan, founder and creator of Badlands Pawn, Gold & Jewelry and Badlands Entertainment Group. “This band is going to conquer the Midwest and beyond.”
Badlands Entertainment Group is now booking additional tour dates for the Badlands House Band, as well as billings with Hairball. Badlands Pawn, Gold & Jewelry opens Thanksgiving Day, 2015 and will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the year. For more information, visit www.BadlandsPawn.com.
